From Pretoria and Johannesburg

• Take the N1 highway North towards Polokwane

 • Proceed through Pumulani Toll Plaza

 • Take Hammanskraal/Boekenhoutkloof turnoff/exit

 • Turn right at the top of the off ramp, over the highway coming from Johannesburg/Pretoria

 • Turn left onto the tarred Rust de Winter Road at the Dinokeng Game Reserve sign and follow the road until you reach the Tau Gate

 • Get your entrance ticket at the boom

 • Proceed through the gate and follow the map below
